You need: Anti-oxidants, such as vitamins A, C and E.
Why? They aid skin repair and help to create a denser, more cushioned appearance.
Found in: Fruit and vegetables, including berries, oranges, red grapes, raisins, tomatoes,
dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, beetroot, red capsicum and carrots.
You need: Mineral zinc.
Why? It helps to maintain collagen and elastin fibres that give your skin its firmness.
Found in: High-protein foods, including meats, beans, legumes, seeds and wholegrain cereals.
You need: Good fats and oils, like omega-3 and omega-6.
Why? To repair the structure of your skin and assist in keeping it supple and hydrated.
Found in: Fish, like trout and salmon, avocado and raw nuts.
