i recently suffered with mass eczema. some were so bad that some irritation that last 2 years.
eventually i went to the dermatologist and the doctor recommended using this product after using intensive body cleaser. i followed her instructions and i felt the difference right away.
At the start, i was hesistant to use this because it felt really greasy and was like vaseline. However, after putting it on at night and waking up in the morning, i was amazed. my skin was hydrated and the scars from scratching started fading away. I definitely recommend for those with extreme dry skin or eczema.

Also, qv skin care administrator, i was wonderin how long it takes before the test drive products are handed out after registering. i have registered quite a while ago but i have received nothing and i was wondering what is happening with it.

    • Janelle Watts says:

I recently tried the QV Intensive Body Moisturiser and I wasn’t a fan. I found it to be very oily and very thick – almost impossible to squeeze out of the bottle. It was hard to rub in and left a greasy, oily film afterwards. I wouldn’t buy it.

    • Peta says:

I found this to be a great product for dry skin but I did find it to be very greasy so I used it at night before I went to bed. I did find that it was hard to get out of the tube.

    • Tanya says:

I have extremely dry scaly skin and found this fabulous. Admittedly I didn’t like the first application as I used too much which left my skin with a greasy feeling but once I sorted out the amount and put it on of a night my skin has improved dramatically. It’s alos great in helping to prevent my young daughters excma.

    • Sharie says:

I used QV intensive Body Moisturiser for extremely dry skin, it was surprising that it was a gel not a cream, although it did moisturise my skin really well, I won’t be buying it in the future as it was really oily and I had to wash my hands after use

    • Christine says:

I found the QV Intensive Body Moisturiser very thick and oily and difficult to squeeze out of the tube. But it is for extremely dry skin so I probably don’t have skin as dry as I thought. I prefer to use the QV Cream.

    • Elle says:

Certainly gets rid of the dry bumps on my daughters, before they flare into full blown eczema. Now it’s just a matter of keeping my eyes peeled for the tell tale dry spots & hit them as soon as possible. Thanks QV

    • Lauren says:

I found the product waxy – not greasy like some of the reviewers previously. It doesn’t leave your skin so slick and oily that you can’t hold on to anything for a while. It also unscented, which is a plus for me.
My mom found it more suitable for her matured skin and she definitely liked that it had more intense hydration than some of the products out there in this price range.

    • Janiene says:

I found this product excellent, it has improved my skin condition immensely, the only downside was that it was very difficult to get out of the tube, I will continue to use this, but next time will purchase in the tub.

    • Kelly says:

I found this cream to be very good in some spots like my hands where they get very dry from doing the dishes, I know that if you use the cream after every time I do dishes or wash my hands they will start to go back to normal soft looking hands and won’t feel sore.

    • leanne says:

tried the qv intense body moisturiser and it was a little greasy but results were almost instant. it is wood chopping, splitting season and plenty of splinters and dry skin and it absorbed well when applied at night. i would use this product again and recommend it to other people.

    • Wendy says:

As a 43 year old my skin dries out easily. QV Intensive Body Moisturiser has won me over! It makes my skin feel velvety. I absolutely love this product – it definitely helps improve dry skin!

    • Jodie says:

I have tried QV Intensive Body Moisturiser and found it good, but it is very oily and gritty. It’s good to put on just before bed when you don’t have to walk around.

    • Penne says:

I applied this intensive body moisturiser to my feet and hands. I found this to be very greasy and non absorbent. Not to keen on the ingredients, even though it doesn’t have propylene glycol in it, this product still has patrolatum added to it. Would rather a more natural product as an overall body moisturiser. I’m sure it’s good for people with eczema though. Thanks for letting me try it.

    • Elle says:

Thanks for including me in the QV Intensive Body Moisturiser.

Firstly, I highly recommend this product. Particularly for skin that is very dry and sensitive.

To get maximum benefit from QV Intensive Body Moisturiser I first bathed (or soaked my feet) for 10mins in comfortably warm water with a cap of QV Bath Oil.

After drying I applied QV Intensive Body Moisturiser to the driest parts of my body, arms, legs, and paying particular attention to my poor feet; this works best when I’m still warm.

At first I wondered if the product felt too oily and heavy, but I sat for a while & massaged it into my hands. Then I noticed that my skin felt soft & not oily at all.

My feet are desperate – VERY dry with hard bits all over, & they hadn’t responded to any of the products I’d tried – even targeted foot & heel treatments!
A week of soaking with QV oil followed by massaging with QV Intensive Body Moisturiser made a wonderful and NOTICEABLE difference.
They aren’t perfect :-) but they resemble feed – & they used to look more like knobbly claws.

It’s now winter & my mother (70yrs) has leg skin that resembles cracked glass! She’s babysitting for me this weekend & to say thank you I’m buying her a tube of QV Intensive Body Moisturiser – I’m certain she’ll love it as much as I do.

    • Frances says:

I actually asked my 14 year old son to use the QV intensive body moisturiser as he suffers from itchy and dry skin on his legs during winter.
He found that it went on easy and helped to relieve the itchiness of his irritation.
I think there won’t be any left for me to try – it’s now been reassigned!

    • Tammy says:

The moisturiser is perfect at this time of year in a cold climate like Canberra where your hands become dry and cracked. As a teacher I am constantly washing my hands and this moisturiser instantly soothes and repairs.

    • Fiona says:

I recently tested this product & am a huge fan of QV products as I have super sensitive skin. The moisturiser left too much residue for me to use during the day, but I used each night before going to bed & my skin is now super hydrated & much softer. I will definately continue to use the moisturiser, along with my regular QV body wash & QV face products & highly recommend to anyone with dry sensitve skin.

    • Sheryl Tamini says:

I recently trialed intensive body moisturiser and was pleasantly surprised by the results. My dry extremeties no longer troubled me and no greasy residue was experienced. It was a little difficult to squeeze from the tube but the lanolin was easy to apply to the body. I will continue to use this product in the future. Thankyou.

    • Sheryl Tamini says:

I really recently trialed QV Intensive Body Moisturiser and found it great, a liitle solid when first squeezed from the tube but spread quite easily. My dry extremeties were quickly remedied and no greasiness was experienced. I would buy this product for continued use as I am very pleased with the product.

    • Karen says:

Great stuff – solved the kids excma itch. We recommend the tub as tube washers to squeeze in cold.

    • Amy says:

I love QV intensive body moisturiser, The texture is easily absorbed by my skin and leave silky touch, no greasy feeling at all. Even my teenage son agreed to use it. It has been a battle to persuade him putting moisturiser to his dry skin, now he peacefully use it, what a relief!! I would certainly buy this product..

    • Judy Walsh says:

Thank-you so much for allowing me to try QV intensive body moisturiser.
Not only has it improved my dry skin, would u believe its also helped out my psoriasis, on my elbows, and knees–i havent felt soft skin for many years, and now i keep rubbing my hands, thinking omg, i have soft skin—working in the orchard every-day really dries out your skin, but i have to say, this is marvellous—thank-you once again Judy

    • Donna Kearney says:

I have had the pleasure of trying the new QV intensive body moisturiser. I loved the result of using it – it did wonders on those really dry area – hands, elbows etc. It did wonders on my 4 year old who gets really dry skin and he loved me putting it on. It was a little hard to spread it out over a big area but brillant on small extremely dry areas!! Love that it soaked in and had no smell!!

    • I found the cream rather hard to squeeze from the tube but onceout it was easy to apply.
It seemed quite thick but disolved quickly into my skin and resulted in a lovely smooth
feeling once it was absorbed. I first tried it on my arms/hands only as they are very dry but will now use it on my legs as well as they are also very dry and flakyand could definitely do with some help.

    • Rose Pater says:

This product is fantastic on my very dry legs and it leaves a golden glow! Great for dry feet for night absorbtion too.
I did find that I couln’t use QV as a general body lotion as it is too greasy…but it’s great for specific problem areas.

    • Becci says:

Firstly it was almost impossible to squeeze out of the tube which has stopped me using it in the morning as I’m always rushing. Felt a little oily so after trying it on my legs (I have very very dry skin on my shins) I might keep it just for the bits like heels and elbows. A little worried about the ingredients as I try to use only natural products and the combination of parrafin/petroleum/alcohol does not appeal. Though this might be beneficial to extreme eczema sufferers.

    • Marjorie says:

Thank you for allowing me to test drive Intensive Body Moisturiser. I am extremely pleased with the product as I have very dry skin and it soaks in very well, particularly after a hot shower and while the body is still warm. By the time I have covered my whole body the product has soaked in and my skin feels very soft and moisturised. It certainly has helped my skin look and feel younger and healthier.

The only problem I found was getting it out of the tube, but this was resolved by placing the tube in hot water for a couple of minutes and the product became very pliable and easy to use and it goes a long way when it is warm.

I will definitely be purchasing the product for future use and I love the tube for travelling.

    • Nikki says:

I have just trialed the QV Intensive Body Moisturiser. It’s hard to squeese from the tube, and initially feels oily. The consistency means that it takes longer than other products to absorb, but it’s worth it becasue it is effective in combating dry skin.

    • Kathryn says:

I have been using this cream now for about three weeks. I found it a bit greasy to start with but now am getting excellent results. Where previously my skin was very dry it is now supple and soft. Even elbows and feet have improved. Iwill continue to use this product. I am sure it will be just as good in the summer after being in the pool.

    • lee Taylor says:

      Hi
I trialed QV Intensive Body Moisturiser. I found it helped my dry skin which was driving me crazy..i would like it to be a little easier to get out of the tube but was worth the effort. It was greasy but soaks in pretty quick.

    • Narelle says:

I have recently tried the 100 ml tube… due to the cold Sydney weather it took superman style strength to get any out of the tube!
I found the smell (or lack their of) nice.
I did find it quite an oily product and not something for during the day use. I found it worked best after a shower.. it absorbed better and results were more forthcoming :)

    • Tegan says:

      QV Intensive Body Moisturiser
i tried the QV Intensive Body Moisturiser it works really well my elbows and knees get really dry and it helped them.. only one thing it was hard to get out of the tube at first but once it came out it gets better .. thanx for letting me try this product would love to sample other products..

    • lorraine taylor says:

After testing this i thought that the product is fantastic from having very dry scale like elbows and knees they are now soft , it absorbed onto my skin very well ,it did feel like i was rubbing fat into my skin with the texture of this QV moisturiser.
Bad side was it was hard to get out of tube , would only buy in a tub and i live in a cold climate of nsw, tube might be ok in a warmer area .
      will deffinately buy this product

    • Kerry says:

I am currently testing this product, it definately is great for dry skin especially if you suffer from dry cracked skin. No purfume just a great moisturiser. The only problem I had was it was a bit greasy and very hard to squeeze from the tube.

    • Barney Kocab says:

I’ve been struggling to seek out one of the best skincare product in the marketplace to revive my arm pores and skin after a awful operation. very useful article, thanks a lot.

    • Colleen says:

I would love to try this Intensive Body Moisturiser.
I have very dry skin and problems with dry spots on my hands.
I have tried many products but am yet to find something I want to stick to.
      Let’s hope this is it.

    • Cynthia says:

great product for dry and sensitive skin however i do find that it doesn’t rub in very well this is fine on your body but not really on your face. Good for an “after the shower” body moisturiser and great for dry feet and heels. thanks

    • What a great resource!

    • Bianca says:

Can i test drive this product please my skin is getting SOOO dry and irritated and nothing works :( please help

    • StephanieQV says:

QV Intensive Moisturiser is one of my all time favourite products. It is very thick compared with everyday moisturisers, and is ideal for patches of dry skin that seem to occur for me mostly in winter. Thanks Sharon for your tip on using it on feet, I’ll give it a go.

    • Heather says:

I recently test drove qv intensive moisturiser. It was different to other moisturisers that I have used in the past. I found that it absorbs into the skin really well and I noticed good results after one week. Very good for sensitive skin and also does not leave your skin slippery after application. I would certainly recommend this product especially to anyone working within an air conditioned environment where your skin is prone to dehydration.

    • Cindy says:

Though it did take some getting used to because it doesn’t absorb quickly, I have found this to be an excellent after shower moisturiser and have been using it over my whole body, including my face. It is so gentle, it doesn’t even sting the sensitive eye area.I would recommend it but agree you need to give it more time to sink in than other creams.

    • Holly says:

I liked this product alot. The unusual texture was easy to get used to although it was a bit slippery but the feel of lovely soft legs is easy to achieve with this product. it even reduced the redness on my elbows. I would definitely buy this product again

    • Sharon says:

QV Intensive Body Moisturiser has the benefit of being fragrance free and non-irritant which is a must for already dry or stressed skin. It is a highly emollient product that does add and lock in moisture and is formulated for extremely dry skin. For that reason it does take longer to absorb than a regular lotion. I find it best to apply this at night when you will not be wearing clothes that may be affected by the residue of the moisturizer. It is especially great for achieving upper soft feet- just apply to the whole foot and put on some cotton socks.

    • kelly says:

i have recently tried the qv intensive body moisturiser and found it good, but its very oily and dosent rub into skin properley, it dosent sting as you apply it, and i would buy it again

      • Lee says:

I love it though I found it hard to squeeze out of the tube.
I’m sticking with it after 40 yrs of using Nivea.

      • Jane says:

I love that QV is fragrance free. The Intensive moisturiser is thick and seems to work really well. I am hoping it works on cracked feet this summer !

    • Tina says:

i tried the QV Intensive Boby Moisturiser for Dry Skinand i love it was fantastic for my dry skin and the whole family used it and loves it will buy it

    • Fiona says:

This product is great for my sons dry lips , gave it to my work mate that had a cold and had that sore flakey nose for using to many tissues .. great for my hands but not during work as to greasy , but in saying that so do many many hand creams & they just make my hands itch .. so for me 9/10 . And the no sting factor is great .

    • Fiona says:

To greasey for day but ok as night cream as long as you dont put it near youe eyes
