I have tried at least six times to say I enjoyed the sample, which did leave my skin feeling softer and smoother, but was not keen on the smell of the bar.
Thank you for the QV bar. I wanted to give it to my elderly mother to try. She has Arachnoiditis which causes terrible itching on her back and arms (so far). The disorder was caused by having a dye injected in her spine in her early 40’s before having back surgery. Doctors don’t use that dye anymore. I’ve only just given her the soap so will keep you up to date on any success with soothing the rash and itch.
I am not actually in the habit of washing my face as most products make my already dry skin feel worse.I found that my skin did feel softer, although I did not see any improvement in wrinkles – product does not promise this though. I also like the very slight smell of coconut, even though the product has no added fragence. This made it feel more natural. The only thing I don’t like is how quickly the bar is gone. Lasted less than a week in my soap holder in the shower.
I love the feel of the bar but personally I prefer something with a little more perfume. It didn’t make any difference to my four year old’s eczema.
Thank you for inviting me to test the QV Bar, I can thoroughly recommend this bar to everyone as it is an experience in luxury with its creamy texture and conditioners. It leaves your face and skin feeling lovely and reduces those year like wrinkles that appear with age and exposure to the weather, well done QV on giving us a wonderfull product.
I have very sensitive skin and was grateful to have the opportunity to review this product. I like using it to remove my makeup (and eye make up). Its a wonderful product and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft which is a pretty good feeling for a 60 year old lady! I am taking care to keep the bar dry and will buy this product.
I looked forward to testing the QV Bar. With having sensitive skin I found the Bar very good for my skin with plenty of moisturiser and not having to use extra. I also found the plastic envelope the bar come in quite handy for travelling. The bar lasted quite well, a fortnight, using everyday in the shower. Yes I would buy this product and thank you jfor the opportunity to test this Bar.
Thank you for the QV bar, it lathers up so beautifully. I found it left my skin feeling soft but I also found my face felt a bit dry. It is well worth a try as I know my face is very sensitive but I will not continue to use it for my face.. The scent doesn’t really worry me, it isn’t offensive nor exciting.

Thanks for allowing me to trial this product. I have not used bar soap for years as my skin is extremely dry and aging. I found the results to be really pleasing and my skin felt moisturised for much longer than usual. However, I found it did tend to get a bit mushy. I will investigate one of your other products and try those now, together with one of your moisturisers as I feel your products are excellent.
Thankyou for the opportunity to test drive the QV bar. I have only one slightly negitive point about the bar and that is the smell, something more inviting would be nice but I got use to it. It lathers well, feels good on my skin including my face and I haven’t had any problem with disintegration. I previously had a problem with itchiness on my back and since using this product, that problem has gone. Thanks again.
I was suprised to receive my bar. The first impression was the “fragrance” of the bar, I didn’t like it at all but I was happy with how my face felt after using it, nice and soft. I haven’t had any problems with the bar going soft, I was careful as to where I put it after using.
I would purchase again.

Thank you very much for the privilige of test driving the QV Bar. Loved it!!!!!!. It did not go gooey as I followed the instructions to keep it dry. I find the best way is to wet face then smooth the bar on it I do not submerge it in water more like a cleansing lotion only solid!! great product I love it.

Enjoyed the chance to “test try” your product – read some of the comments before I used QV Bar so made sure I kept the bar dry after use – no problems if this is done – smoothe texture and good after use feel – the non perfume effect was good in the way that it did not compete with my perfume, but it perhaps could have been a bit less astringent smelling – thanks again! Would be happy to try any of your other products……….
I loved the product, i have sensitive skin and found I didn’t react badly to it at all, even used it on my face. Lathers well and is smooth but doesn’s last very long.
Thanks for allowing me to test drive the QV Bar, I found that it was creamy to use, but the bar did disintergrate in the shower, also stuck really hard to the soap dish. I did like the way it left my skin but was disappointed that it didn’t seem to lather up also needs a fresh fragrance smell.
Thank you for allowing me to try the QV Bar. On opening the box I was surprised by the texture of the bar as it is not smooth like most soaps. I liked the resealable plastic wrapper which would be handy for travelling. The QV Bar lathered well in our hard water and felt creamy and smooth on my skin. It has a slightly unusual smell but is not offensive. My 50+ skin has been very dry but the QV bar has left it feeling lovely and soft. Soap often leaves me with a rash after a shower but I had no reaction after using the QV Bar so will definitely continue to use it. A great product QV!
The bar disintergrated,became soft and slimy. I did not like the feel of this product as it left my skin with a waxy film and my skin felt tight and dry. People commented on how dry my skin looked after I had used this product (not the effect that the product was supposed to have)
Thank you for the soap bar. Since using it my skin feels soft and no longer itchy. I like the product and will purchase some. My only concern is that it doesn’t last very long.

I found the QV Bar to be very creamy and left the skin feeling moisturised after a shower. My husband, who has very sensitive skin, also used it and said it was the best shower product he had used. I would certainly use it if the the price was comparible to a good soap.
I liked the feel of the soap but it just disappeared to quickly, my skin felt nice and moist. I would use it again but it would be better if it lasted longer.
I tried this for the first time and found it soft on the skin and did not leave any rashes,yet cleaned.My husband also found it great.I would recommend.

I didn’t like the bar to my amazement. It had a strange feel and soon became very soft and messy. Although it is meant to be without fragrance I didn’t like the smell and to be honest didn’t feel that it made my skin feel nicer or softer.
Thanks for the opportunity to review this product. It was really creamy and made my skin feel so soft and moisturised. After a few showers it got soft and gooey and it got quite messy towards the end. It seemed to be used up a lot quicker than other bars. Good product in general, but a bit of refinement in the consistency would make it fantastic.
I like the bar for the soft feeling, but above all I like that it foams up. Made my skin feel soft and smooth. The only thing I didn’t like, is that I couldn’t find it in my supermarket to buy.
I really enjoyed trialling this product. My skin felt clean and soft. A definate winner!
As someone who’s been only able to use body wash for many years I was excited to try the QV Bar. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how non-drying the bar is and my sensitive skin has felt really nice while using this product. The lack of scent took some time to get used to (especially compared to how strongly alot of body washes smell) but I’ve grown to quite like it and I’ll probably buy this product at least occasionally.
As other’s have mentioned, the bar definitely tends to disintegrate more quickly then alot of soaps, I’m hoping this is because it’s more ‘natural’ but some improvement in that area would probably be good.

Unlike the other older people I do not have dry skin so that aspect was not important to me. It used it similarly as I would soap – it was neither better nor worse as far as cleansing goes – but was certainly a gentle product which I would not hesitate to use on children. It did/does tend to soften very quickly so it would not last as long as traditional soap. You have to take care to leave it somewhere where it has a chance to dry out between uses. I had no issue with the scent.

It is amazing!
After using it in the shower, I decided to just use it for my face, but gave in, and brought it back to the shower, as I have a few dry spots behind my knees!
What a wonderful product, not only cleared the dry sore spots, but leaves my face feeling so soft, and not the least bit dry, like other products I have tried.
I would and have recommended this to some of my friends, who like me, are on our second part of our journey, and the response has been great!
My daughter has a little boy with dry skin and she now uses it on him with great success!
When the bar is finished, I will certainly be buying it!

I am very impressed with the gentle cleaning properities of the QV bar. Because my face is very sensitive, I haven’t used soap on it for about 20 years. Because I always used Ego products on my children when they were babies I took a chance and used it on my face and have been particularly pleased with the results. Would like the smell to be less “hospitally” otherwise no problems

The bar was very smooth and creamy the first couple of times I used it but it didnt last long because it was left in the shower.
If I purchased it again and I would suggest to anyone else who purchased it that it be left in a soap holder between washes.
I have suggested that my daughter who has eczema try it.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive the QV soap bar in the post thank QV team for allowing me to trial the product
Using the bar in the shower and bath provided an instant creamy lather leaving my sensitive skin feeling smooth and worked well to maintain moisture. I wasn’t prepared for the quick disintegration when left on a wet shower and bath surface so decided to use the remainder for my face. It performed the same way and would recommend it for anyone with type 2 combination skin as well as sensitive skin!

Thanks for the opportunity, the bar arrived in time for Easter, I love the product. A nearing 70 and my skin is always dry to the point where if I scratch it leaves white marks due to the dryness. Have used the QV bar since I got it and it is lovely mys kin feels smooth and is not dry. I have since purchased some QV wash and will definately be buying the soap bar in future. My grandson has a skin condition, he used it with much success. Once again a great product. Lillian

After using the QV bar my skin felt soft and moisturised and unlike ordinary soaps, my skin was not left dry and itchy. Only problem with it is that after using it a couple of times it seems to get all soggy and falls apart.
Thanks for letting me try the QV bar, both my husband & myself found it to be very moisturising & we did not find that it disintigrated even though we have now been using it for 2 weeks.We both suffer with psoriasis & feel that even in this short time the bar seems to be helping to improve the redness & itching of our skin. I have also found that it does not leave a soap scum on the bath as does soap. The only problem is the price as we are aged pensioners but will try to buy it.
I received my sample of the QV Bar to test drive:
In the shower it felt like a lotion going on, very smooth and silky and washed off leaving a very clean feeling to my skin. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell. It has a weird smell that doesn’t stay on your skin but makes me less inclined to use it regularly.
i agree that it’s creamy and healthy soap, Also i agree that it’s disintegrated. Anyways i wana ask somthing,, my skin is oil, so i dont know if there is any other Qv bar for the oil’s skin ??

I used the bar a few times on my 12 month old who suffers quite severe eczema. Unfortunately, it was too drying on her skin (and I very rarely use any foaming agent on her skin to avoid irritation).
I usually use QV bath oil and occasionally QV Flare up in the bath and that’s all. I wouldn’t purchase the soap myself but thank you for the opportunity to try it.
thank you for letting me to review it, I’m not a soap person I prefer to use the wash, but I was really surprised how creamy it felt, I liked it a lot, definitely better than other soaps I tried, skin feels soft and the soap wasn’t harsh, but I think I’ll stick to my QV wash
I liked reviewing this product. I don’t usually buy bars as we love the wash, so it was a nice change. I didn’t like the way it became soggy and fell apart after a few uses, butmy skin did feel less itchy after using it. I wasn’t a fan of the smell, it wasn’t horrible but could be improved. The bar seemed like a creamy lather, but I wouldn’t say it left my skin softer…I didn’t use it on my face. I love that it has no harsh ingredients, as well as that consumer views are actually being sought about the product.
I love being able to test products I would not normaly purchase. The QV bar felt very lovely on the skin and was gentle enough for the whole family. However we havent used bar soap in our house for years and the reason why is the mess it creates. I think the QV bar would be better suited to people who still use bar soap compared to people like us who use body washes and pump soap
I found the QV bar such a great alternative to soap and even my body wash. I used it on my 2 year old too and was thankful that it was gentle on his skin and I didn’t have to worry that I was using a harsh soap or a chemical-laden liquid wash. I am really loving all the QV products I’ve trialled so far! I am definitely a convert to QV!
I was very excited about getting the chance to review this product.
Pros; The bar was very creamy.
Cons; The bar disintegrated quite a bit. I didn’t much like the smell of the bar, that was my first thought when I opened it. I didn’t find it to leave my skin feeling considerably softer and I was overall disappointed with the product.
Other thoughts; If it had a nicer smell, I would have liked it much more. This was my biggest problem with the bar.
Thanks for letting me test this product, both my husband and I really liked the feel, very creamy and smooth on skin, however even though it said ‘Fragrance free’ it had a very clincal hospital type smell to it that we didn’t like, would prefer it to smell nice, as was left with smell even after shower.
Used the bar in the shower felt like more like a body wash than soap,loved it. But it still felt a little drying on my face though.
The QV bar is really creamy, feels very luxurious and its great as I know its good for my skin too
Thankyou for the opportunity to review this product. The bar was creamy and felt great on my skin, and my husband and son also used the product. The only disappointing part was that the bar was too soft and disintegrated, and ended up all over the floor of the shower and down the drain. This would have to be improved before I would consider buying the product, due to the wastage.
Great product if it lasted longer.
I absolutely agree with you about disintergrating. I found the bar lasted less than a week before it was really too small to use.
I didn’t think the smell was awful, it was a little like coconut oil and it was less drying to my skin. (I don’t actually use anything on my face but water as it makes my skins SO dry) but again as you said, it is too soft any dosn’t last very long.
Lathered up well. Would have liked it to have had a different fragrance. It did not dry my skin but i ended up only using it on my face because i wanted it to last. It disintegrated quickly. Would purchase this product again if it was longer lasting.
