QV Wash is an effective, soap-free cleanser made for dry or sensitive skin. Lightly foaming on the skin, you can use it every day to leave skin soft and supple.

I had traditionally used soap in the shower and always found it dried out my skin, regardless of the brand or the amount of moisturiser it claimed to include. After using QV Wash, I didn’t feel like I had dry and scaly skin and I didn’t have to use much moisturiser on the tricky spots, like my knees and elbows. It felt like it was really cleaning my skin, unlike some other body washes. And it worked well when I shaved my legs, bonus!
My partner loves it as well, because it doesn’t have a girly smell and doesn’t come in girly packaging. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to soap.
I can’t really think of anything that needs changing… I love it!
QV wash is a fantastic product that every household should have. I have replaced my body wash and face cleanser with one bottle of QV Wash. It’s soap free and gentle on the skin, leaving it clean and soft. It works best with a loofah or a shower puff, allowing it to lather nicely in showers. I’ve shared the wash with my mum who has now replaced her soap and with it. using QV Wash makes me feel moisturised and hydrated all day long!

I love it! Actually my family loves it. It feels really nice and gentle, and my skin was supersmooth after using it just for couple of days. What’s more-my husband who never rally uses any shower gel or washes just soap, used almost all of it. He has dry dry skin and he just loved using it and noticed his skin condition improving. Plus my little boy has very soft skin after washed him with QV Wash. So thank you once more for the experience!
QV Wash. Review.
Packaging: The bottle looks good with modern, clean lines and a convenient size with a useful flip-top lid. However, I found it a bit of a difficult shape to hold onto easily. The width is a little large for my petite hands and combined with the tapering shape, it was hard to grip, especially when wet. I thought the packaging colour and design was family friendly and would appeal to both males and females of all ages. It is easy to recognise QV from the label, therefore nice and easy to find on the shelf.
Fragrance free: Very happy with the fragrance free aspect, so even if I could not use the product due to sensitivity to any ingredients, I could purchase it for my husband to use because it has no fragrances and no noticable aromas. Since I have anaphylaxis to some fragrance chemicals, this is very important to me.
My experience using QV Wash: I liked the visual appearance of it, which looked rich and natural – no unwanted colors. It lathered up beautifully and felt moisturising at the time of use. However after use, my skin became rather sore and dry so I stopped using the product. My skin is very sensitive and this could be due to SLS in the formula. I do not use other products with SLS. I also prefer to purchase products without parabens and would be very interested in purchasing more products in the range if they were SLS free and paraben free.
My husband is now using the product and reports that he had no problems with the bottle and found it easy to use. He agreed with my review (above) and wanted to add his comments. He would like the product to be thicker, as he found it rather too runny. He wondered if the very hot weather here in SA could be affecting the consistency. He did not like the feel of the coating the product leaves on the skin, especially the hands. He was very happy to see an Australian company making fragrance free products for those of us with sensitive skin and multiple chemical sensitivities.

I really love the QV Wash! My skin is a bit sensitive and really dry at the moment as I am taking Roaccutane, but I find that the QV Wash is gentle enough that my skin doesn’t even need moisturiser after every wash! Do love the bubbles too.. much better than another brand (Cetaphil – if I’m allowed to mention) that I have used, without the drying effect of some bodywashes.

QV Wash Review:
Love it, Love it, Love it. I suffer from very dry and easily irritated skin, so was very happy to discover that QV wash left my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I especially loved that my skin didn’t feel “tight” or “itchy” after using it. I was also pleased to discover that a little goes a long way when used on a soft cloth or sponge when washing. I was expecting to have to use lots… so that was a bonus. I am so happy that I’ve found QV. Just a thought though, the packaging is very clinical and it’s not enticing (to me anyway), certainly my eyes would have passed over it in a store. Other than that…. I will certainly be using QV wash from now on. =)
I am a long term user of QV moisturisers but hadn\’t tried the Gentle Wash until given one to test drive. I and my children love it. We all have sensitive skin and it doesn\’t dry it out like other soaps/washes can. My children used to itch after using some bath products but have been itch free after using the Gentle Wash every night. Thanks QV, another great product.
My 8 month old son has very sensitive skin and suffers from Excema. The skin wash is the first product that I have used (and I have tried many!!!) that did not cause a reaction on his skin, or flare up his excema. It has also not left his ski dry. Finally I can start washing his hair and little body with something else other than water!
Great product, highly recommend.
My daughter at 12 months developed really dry skin on her ankles and found after baths it was itchy. Istarted using this along with repair cream and seen a great impovement in about 3 weeks, now 2 months later it is completely gone.
Wiil continue to use this product.

I suffer from sensitive skin, minor dermatitis and the odd round of hives so I really need to be careful with what I use and I’m happy to say that QV wash passes the test! I had no allergic reactions to using it and it made my skin feel fresh, soft and clean for hours after.
In saying this, I am not able to use it on my hands as they are a lot more sensitive than the rest of my body and I believe it could be due to the effects of SLS so I would also be interested if QV came out with an SLS-free version of this wash.
Aside from this, I was very happy with using this product and was surprised at how little I had to use to get a rich and foamy lather. This made it perfect for shaving my legs and resulted in such a smooth shave that my skin was ’squeaky’ afterwards! I also noticed that I didn’t have any razor burn and that my legs were so soft they didn’t need moisturiser.
Versatile, refreshing and gentle, QV wash is really impressive and I will be adding it to my list!
I’ve been using the wash for a week now and can report that my legs in particular do not feel as dry as in the past. I really liked the fact that it is not perfumed. The consistency was good and the product lathered really easily, I often used it with a shower puff and got lots of bubbles.
The only negative I can think of is that because of the packaging if I hadn’t tried the product in this trial I probably wouldn’t have bought it. To me, the look of the packaging seemed more like a medicinal product (I know it is) but I prefer to feel like I am pampering myself in the shower and like to see luxurious packaging too. Saying that, now I have tried the product I would certainly purchase it, especially to use on holiday when my skin gets dry in the sun.
A great product that I would recommend to anyone with dry skin.
A big thank you to QV Test Drive for a chance to trial the QV Wash. I have very dry and dermatitis-prone skin, so I was looking forward to finding out if this body wash would be suitable for me.
The product I was sent came in a handy 250 ml plastic bottle which is a great size for the shower caddy. The bottom of the bottle has an unusually extended flat area that makes it quite stable on any surface. The flip top cap allows easy access to the product. The ingredient list includes glycerin, which softens skin. It is soap-free, but does contain sulfates and parabens.
This scent-free cleanser flows easily from the bottle, but I found I needed quite a lot of it to work up a lather. As such, the 250 ml bottle is great for inidividuals, but you’d need a larger bottle for a family. Happily, the body wash did not irritate my dermatitis and left my skin feeling soft. However, I did find that after the skin had dried off for a while it became increasingly parched, so you do need to use a good moisturiser afterwards. The cleanser itself is quite effective in removing everyday dirt and even heavy creams.
Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with a skin condition, but not necessary for dry skin as I found my skin became increasingly dry with use over time. I probably will purchase this one again, but I would use it with a good moisturiser. In fairness, though, this is the recommendation in the “directions” on the bottle.
It doesn’t soap up, however you get used to that, and the benefits make up for it! The product leaves skin feeling fresh and clean with no soap skum in the shower. Doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin (I get eczema & psoriasis etc) which is great.
250ml flip top bottle is handy for travelling (though it would be excellent if it had a removable little pump pack on top for ease of use whilst showering). Thankyou for making a product for sensitive skin!
Thank you for the opportunity to test drive QV Wash. I really liked the product. I thought that it lathers well and enjoy that it is fragrance free so it does not compete with my EDP spray. It was excellent for shaving my legs in the shower and left a soft silky feel afterwards. My husband who has psoriasis also tried it and it did not irritate his skin. I would both recommend this product and buy it. Thank you again QV.
I trialed this until there was none left, and using a bathpuff made it lather better! Still not enough to make me happy tho, as had to use more for better lather. My skin is dry and after using this each day, did notice that my skin looked better, in particular my legs!!!! I never use soap, unless Im visiting friends, and the rush out to buy some bathwash! I was happy to test drive the QV
Our whole family uses QV Wash and loves it. Our 2 year old gets a bit of ezcma and is allergic to many perfumed products so we use QV as a soap and shampoo replacement for both the young boys and as a soap replacement for the rest of the family. I am very pleased with the lathery feel of QV Wash and the moisturising quality of this product. Why would anyone use drying, old fashioned soap when QV Wash is such a superior product? Thanks QV, we are converted.
Love this product and was very pleased to test drive it, probably would never have tried it otherwise. Absolutely brilliant, my skin feels smooth and fresh. It’s just a really good product. It’s now one I’ll continue to use and recommend to others
I have found that my skin has improved greatly since using QV.
I have found the product to be positive in the results with my skin far less dry and smoother.
In the future I will buy in QV rather than cakes of soap.
The only down fall is the shape and ease of use of the bottle, it is a little akward to grip and use in the shower. Maybe the pump pack would be better.
Are there environmentally friendly refills for the pump packs??

I just loved this product QV WASH its great for my sensitive dry skin and it left my skin feeling smooth fresh clean and alive,its like my dry skin has been reborn, i knew this product would be awesome simply because its the only product my daughter in law will use on my grandson and its the only product i will use from here on in its absolutely gorgeous.

i need soap free shower products as my skin continually dries up if I use soap. I found this very similiar to other soap free products however my skin did become a little dry after a few days using the product. i continued to use it every second day and it is not drying my skin up now.
I also found it gentle enough to use on my toddler.

I’ve never used QV before but I was pleasantly surprised at how much it helped my skin. The fragrance free aspect was very appealing to me and the actual product left my skin feeling much better and less dry. Will be happily using in the future!
Loved how this product was suitable for all my family members as I found it gentle on the skin and fragrance free. I suffer from dry skin and cannot tolerate soap at all. It kept my skin soft and moisturised without the drying effects of soap. I too found it great to use when shaving my legs. Another added bonus was no build up of soap in the shower to clean away. QV wash gets tops marks from me, I will be purchasing it in the future and recommending it to my friends and family.

Having previously used ’soap free’ products and being disappointed, i was delighted with the results QV offered. It saves me time by alleviating the need to moisturise my skin after showering. I also use the wash on my two week old son and find it very gentle on his delicate skin. Highly recommend.
I had not used QV products before..this has been a great introduction to them and I have since bought other products to try. I use the WASH in the kitchen. My 80 + hands are dry and sensitive and I have found that this product has been good for them. I am recommending it to my granddaughter for my great grandson who has exzema…I have kept her some to try.
Fabulous product! Would recommend to everyone. Easy to dispense – perfect size for taking away for the weekend or travel. Great to use with a bath-puff – lathers up nicely. The packaging is quite good – the flat surface of the bottle means it won’t tip or spill.
Just one question. Can I use it on my face? The information on the bottle wasn’t clear as to whether it was suitable as a long-term facial wash.

Thank you so much for allowing me to test QV Wash. Having very dry skin, especially on my legs, I am always looking for better wash’s that don’t dry my skin further. QV has has done that alleviating the dry itching skin that showering with soaps and other washes do. It is the only wash for me from now on. Thanks QV.
I really liked the way that the product cleaned my skin. It is definitely gently and less drying than soap based body wash but I found that the consistency was too runny and I wasted a lot of the product as it ran off my hands while I was trying to work up a lather.
My daughters have very sensitive skin and soap is no good for them, I found the QV a great alternative and their skin improved. Thanks

Absolutely loved trialing this product. My skin felt clean and soft. Only a small amount is required so it is very economical.
I have begun using this on my children and my husband is now using it. I had to buy him a smaller bottle for him to take on his work trip.

Great product but the packaging in competition with other similar product is very conventional pretty it up and it will sell.

I have been trialling this product for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with it. I have a long history of skin problems (eczema, contact dermatitis) so I am alway looking for products that will agree with my skin. QV wash has proven itself to be a great body wash, causing me no problems at all – in fact, my skin is looking better than it has for a while!
This wash has no fragrance and the bubbles it produces are so soft! It cleans effectively, without stripping my skin or leaving it feeling dry. I would be quite comfortable using it on small children or anyone with skin allergies/inflammation. I highly recommend QV wash.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to trial QV wash. I suffer from dry skin and my kids also suffer from eczema as well so we have all been trialling it. I really like that fact that there is no smell and the wash is nice and creamy with few bubbles. I skin feels a lot softer and smoother and doesn’t appear to be so dry.
I have been using the QV wash and it is very good. It feels nice on the
skin, just glides on and leaves my dry skin very soft afterwards.
As I have dry skin I will be continuing to use this product in the future.
The QV wash was light in texture, on the side of runny, it could be a little thicker, but it does froth up easy and gives a nice silken feel, its not drying at all and your skin feels very soft afterwards, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I have noticed a difference in my skins appearance and feel, I would definately recommend QV wash.
I have been testing the QV wash for a few weeks now and it is wonderful, i have a brand new baby and noticed that my skin was getting really dry and also the weather is getting cooler. i have always used other moisturising body washes but QV was fantastic it leaves my skin clean and is soft when i get out of the shower. i have also been using it in the babies bath as it doesn’t dry out her soft delicate skin either. great product and i have already recommended it to my friends.

I love this product. Being soap free, I have to say that initial instinct was that it would not clean my hands properly – but how wrong was I. Just a small bit lathers up nicely, and afterwards hands feel clean and soft. Having two dogs, we all wash our hands very often, so this has come in handy, and my hands have definitely taken a liking to it, no longer feeling as dried out from the perfumed hand soap we usually used. Rest of the family is loving it too, in particular husband who easily gets skin irritations, – for him it has now completely replaced other soap products, including body washes – and being typical male and not using body lotions, the non-soap formula has left his skin so soft which is a lovely change. An absolute winner, which is sure to be added to the shopping list when we run out. Thanks again!
The wash is slightly runny and would be nice if it was thicker. The clean factor and the lovely fresh feel on your skin after showering is really nice according to my husband. Unfortunately I won’t use it because it contains sodium lauryl sulfate.
Wow, I absolutely love QV Wash. For so long, any facial cleansers I used would horribly dry out my skin but I have not found that with QV Wash at all. It comes out a little runny to start off with, but you don’t need a lot for it to lather up well.
Not only does it not dry my skin, but it doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind once I have rinsed it off. I am definitely going to keep using this product and heartily recommend it.
Hi there… just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the QV Wash product. It came just at the right time as I had used a shower cleaner which unfortunately was too strong for my hands & resulted in a reaction on my palm near my little & ring finger (it was a natural product where it wasn’t required to use gloves also
. It was so painful & after using regular hand wash / body wash throughout the day my hand would be stinging & so painful. It came to my suprise that in using QV it actually started to clear it up & in conjunction with the QV Creme, it settled down totally.
The house is now equiped with QV wash in all soap dispensers & we happily use it in the shower also & have no problems with it’s ability to clean properly. Certainly worth a try & you’ll be very happy!
