I had traditionally used soap in the shower and always found it dried out my skin, regardless of the brand or the amount of moisturiser it claimed to include. After using QV Wash, I didn't feel like I had dry and scaly skin and I didn't have to use much moisturiser on the tricky spots, like my knees and elbows. It felt like it was really cleaning my skin, unlike some other body washes. And it worked well when I shaved my legs, bonus! My partner loves it as well, because it doesn't have a girly smell and doesn't come in girly packaging. I don't think I'll ever go back to soap. I can't really think of anything that needs changing... I love it!
QV wash is a fantastic product that every household should have. I have replaced my body wash and face cleanser with one bottle of QV Wash. It's soap free and gentle on the skin, leaving it clean and soft. It works best with a loofah or a shower puff, allowing it to lather nicely in showers. I've shared the wash with my mum who has now replaced her soap and with it. using QV Wash makes me feel moisturised and hydrated all day long!
Thank you very much for letting me be a part of QV Wash test drive. I love it! Actually my family loves it. It feels really nice and gentle, and my skin was supersmooth after using it just for couple of days. What's more-my husband who never rally uses any shower gel or washes just soap, used almost all of it. He has dry dry skin and he just loved using it and noticed his skin condition improving. Plus my little boy has very soft skin after washed him with QV Wash. So thank you once more for the experience!
QV Wash. Review. Packaging: The bottle looks good with modern, clean lines and a convenient size with a useful flip-top lid. However, I found it a bit of a difficult shape to hold onto easily. The width is a little large for my petite hands and combined with the tapering shape, it was hard to grip, especially when wet. I thought the packaging colour and design was family friendly and would appeal to both males and females of all ages. It is easy to recognise QV from the label, therefore nice and easy to find on the shelf. Fragrance free: Very happy with the fragrance free aspect, so even if I could not use the product due to sensitivity to any ingredients, I could purchase it for my husband to use because it has no fragrances and no noticable aromas. Since I have anaphylaxis to some fragrance chemicals, this is very important to me. My experience using QV Wash: I liked the visual appearance of it, which looked rich and natural - no unwanted colors. It lathered up beautifully and felt moisturising at the time of use. However after use, my skin became rather sore and dry so I stopped using the product. My skin is very sensitive and this could be due to SLS in the formula. I do not use other products with SLS. I also prefer to purchase products without parabens and would be very interested in purchasing more products in the range if they were SLS free and paraben free. My husband is now using the product and reports that he had no problems with the bottle and found it easy to use. He agreed with my review (above) and wanted to add his comments. He would like the product to be thicker, as he found it rather too runny. He wondered if the very hot weather here in SA could be affecting the consistency. He did not like the feel of the coating the product leaves on the skin, especially the hands. He was very happy to see an Australian company making fragrance free products for those of us with sensitive skin and multiple chemical sensitivities. I really love the QV Wash! My skin is a bit sensitive and really dry at the moment as I am taking Roaccutane, but I find that the QV Wash is gentle enough that my skin doesn't even need moisturiser after every wash! Do love the bubbles too.. much better than another brand (Cetaphil - if I'm allowed to mention) that I have used, without the drying effect of some bodywashes.
