Positives: I found that in less than a week my skin was softer and wasn’t dry in areas that it usually is like on my elbows and shins. I like the packaging, its fun and its a good way for kids to feel like they can moisturise too! And I like the bright colours (purple, blue, yellow, orange). I also like the colored dots inside the cream because it’s not just like any other cream that’s just white and boring. I feels like a cream specially made for kids to enjoy. I like the easy directions on the back so kids don’t do silly stuff like put it in their eyes (some kids need directions even though they mightn’t like it!)

Negative: The pointy bits on the top of the package are really sharp and it cut me while I was fiddling with it. I know it’s not how you are suppose to hold it but I’m a kid and we DO FIDDLE alot so you need to consider that.

Fantastic product. The kids loved it and wanted to put it on themselves. I’m really happy with their skin after using it for a week. Would love to see it in a big pump pack though.

Rhonda Crowther, 36, Laidley Heights,  Mum of 1 5star

My daughter and I loved the product. It looked a little odd at first and I was dubious of the blue coloured micro beads, but they quickly dissolved and I began to use them as a helpful tool to identify that the cream was rubbed in properly. My daughter suffers eczema and dry skin. Often sorbolene and other products sting, but QV Kids had no sting and made after bath massage and moisturising a pleasure that we looked forward to. Another bonus feature of QV Kids is that the initially thick consistency alleviates spills and messy accidents that toddlers can quickly cause.

I discovered that the product was not suitable for my son after several days. It did moisturise his dry skin well, however, he does suffer from eczema (very sensitive skin) and he broke out in a mild skin rash. He does not have issues with other QV products. We will still use this product on my daughter and myself though. The packaging is fun (love looney tunes). Thanks for the opportunity to trial your product.

  • jane says:

Beautiful product and works brilliantly. Easily absorbed into skin. Kids loved the packaging and were eager to rub it on their skin. Would like to see a pump-pack.

  • Tania M says:

Hope it doesn’t cost more being a licensed product. I thought it smelt like sunscreen which stayed all day, needs a slight fragrance. It applied well, soaked into the skin well and wasn’t greasy. The blue particles weren’t an encouragement to apply the product.

  • kate jennings says:

my daughter LOVES having her own cream and asks me multiple times a day if she can apply some more and shows it to everyone! At 2.5 yrs she thinks its such a treat and nice and thick so doesnt go everywhere!

  • Lisa says:

Easy to apply and the kids like to do it themselves, I liked it too!

  • karen parry says:

great product, my kids were fighting who was going to use it first.. i found that it absorded into the kids skin really well, and notice a real difference in thier skin in a couple of days…my daughter has eczema in the creases of her elbows, this product calmed and reduced the redness, i agree with previous comments love to see this cream in a pump pack, which would make it more user friendly..

  • Tema says:

Great product, gentle on skin. Use it daily for my two children

  • Simone Judge, 33, Ballarat, mum of 4 girls says:

Three of my girls had eczema as a baby and I found QV to be the best for them. This cream was great of their skin, it left them feeling so soft they kept running their hand over their skin. They thought the coloured beads were very pretty and fun to rub on. I loved it too, especially on my heals. Being summer, they have been very dry and cracked. After a few days they are perfect, not a crack in sight!!

  • heleina says:

Great product my daughter loved the packaging and was excited to use the product. She found it easy to rub in (only 3yo) and her skin was left soft and smooth with no greasy finish. Most creams for kids that she tries leaves her with a light red rash but this cream didnt, we are very impressed thank you QV!

  • Bronny Clelland says:

Fantastic moisturizing cream!!! Not only did it help my teenage son’s eczema and stop the constant scratch, scratch, but it helped me. The day the product arrived I had plaster taken off my wrist and I discovered that I had developed “lizard skin” under the cast. I tried the doctors suggested of sorbolene, but I found that I was constantly applying it and not getting anywhere. The next day I “borrowed” my son’s cream and after just 2 applications (several hours apart) bye bye “lizard skin”. I now use it everywhere and for a 42 yr old mum of 2 I now have skin that is smooth as a baby’s bum. Not bothering to use my expensive moisturizers anymore (especially on my face as they often irritated my eye area), I just use Taz’s moisturizer. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try this, it will be a product we use always.

    • Stephanie says:

We love QV for Kids! My son’s skin feels really great after only a few applications. He loves his ‘ball’ cream (as he calls the coloured beads) and enjoys rubbing them in himself. A great way to encourage independence and personal hygiene in a 3 year old boy. I would love to be able to buy it in a pump pack so that he can use it himself more independently (without squirting it everywhere!!!)

  • Michelle, 41, Moonee Ponds says:

I have a 2 little boys, 2 and 9 months. Both have eczema and it is in our daily routine to moisturise 2 to 3 times a day. I’ve used many products and I rate QV kids Moisturising Cream amongst the best. It is so rich and creamy yet it absorbs really well, protecting the skin for hours. We love the colourful packaging too!

  • kerry says:

my kids love using QV mosisturiser. They like that they have their own tube of cream which is easy to find with the cartoon symbol on it. They also like squeezing it onto their skin and rubbing until all the magic colourful balls disappear. Great product we will buy again

  • Sandra Milton says:

I actually used the cream on myself (as my daughter is 25) as I have sensitive skin all over, and my arms tend to be very dry from my illness (Sjogren’s syndrome) and sun damage. I also trialled it on my face as I have found the other QV creams too heavy for my face and I tended to break out. Even after the initial time, I noticed a difference on my arms which improved with daily use. The cream proved to be fantastic on my face as it was light and has the added benefits of antioxidants, and left my skin looking dewy, very soft and fresh, though I experienced slight irritation in my eyes, most likely as I suffer from dry eyes also. This is a great facial moisturiser for summer! Overall, a very good product which does what it says and would be fantastic for children after a day in the sun or in winter, and I ALSO found it fun to use with the dissolving beads.

  • Fleur Waters says:

    We loved this product!

My girls have just spent 2 weeks at daily swimming lessons and we used this cream everyday after their shower. They loved that the cream was just for kids and in particular the little blue beads. We found the cream very moisturising and helped to counteract the effects of the chlorine and sun.

I would definitely buy this product for them in the future as it is great to start them early on the path to looking after their skin.

  • Joanne Davies says:

My daughter has sensitive skin but this cream seems to be fine with her. She loves putting it on and loves the coloured bits inside. Her skin does feel softer after a week of using it, would but it often if it came in a big pump pack.

  • Lucy Hair says:

This product has been great to use on the kids after their evening bath. Regular visits to the pool and park and general playing in the sun have left their skin a bit dry over the holidays. The coloured beads made it fun for the kids to use. Agree with several others that a pump pack would be good. Would probably buy it in place of the QV Repair Skin Lotion that is currently in their bathroom.
Thanks for the test drive product.

  • Kristen Miller says:

Great product, which left my kids skin feeling soft. Very pleased and kids loved the Taz Devil. Only problem is getting cream out of tube.

  • Heather says:

I did not think the cream absorbed very well. It seemed to stay on my hands when I applied the cream so I needed to wash my hands afterwards.
The packaging was cute for the kids and the blue beads were interesting.

  • Shell says:

My boys all loved it. Made moisturising after the bath so much easier and it was no longer a chore. They ask all day for their “spotty cream” and love to see who can rub it in first.

  • Mikayla says:

I loved this product! I too thought the blue beads were odd, but they did indeed disolve well. I loved that the lotion kept my hands soft for hours and that it is completely fragrance free. I did not have to worry about using it on my 2 year olds skin. I would love it in a pump as I felt I couldn’t use it several times a day as it would run out (big pump like sorbelene cream would be great). I will definately buy this product again and it has encouraged me to use more QV products for my baby. Oh and it is GREAT after swimming when your skin is really dry. LOVED IT!

  • Claudia says:

A great way to introduce kids to a moisturiser, especially if they suffer from eczema or psoriasis. Liked that it was not heavily scented and the coloured beads made it fun for the kids.
Like other QV products we found this cream to be very moisturising.
Thank you for allowing us to test the product.

  • Kristi says:

My daughter has sensitive skin and has not reacted to this QV Kids product.

Initially I thought the little beads would be scratchy – like an exfoliant. But it is not like that at all. They melt on contact with the skin.

She loves it and uses it regularly. She also love taking responsibility now for her own skin care with her own special product. Specially made for her (and not for grown ups)

I will definitely be using this moisturiser again.

  • Ann T says:

Would recommend this for anyone with kids (or without). My son has a lot of allergies and has just loved being able to put this cream on. Soaks into the skin really quickly. Also love the “no perfume” as we are all sensetive to smells. Definitely a winner!

  • Carlene says:

We loved the cream.Kids were happy to put it on for themselves and loved the packaging.
I thought the abscence of a scent for a kids product was odd, with the cute packaging and the interesting look the beads gave it you expected a great smell when you opened it, and there is no smell at all.
Still a great product i am happy to buy my kids.

  • Wendy says:

Initially I gave it to the kids to try and they loved the little beads and it has been great for my sensitive skin child. I then threw it in my handbag to show a friend, and it now lives in my office desk. I find the airconditioning at work really drying and I’ve now started to use it. What started out as something for the kids, has now been stolen by me!

  • Nicole Wesley says:

My son is prone to a little eczema so I find moisturising every day after his bath a must. The QV cream worked really well on his skin and left it soft and soothed. I would definitely buy it – a pump pack would be great.

  • Vanessa says:

This was so fun to use! Those little coloured beads melted on impact and it was fun to rub them in with the cream knowing they were full of vitamins like vitamin A and E!! Unique and interestingly fun cream to use and my three kids soon took over with trying it out! They were quite fascinated by the melting beads of colour!

I found the cream absorbed quickly, leaving no greasy afterfeel. My skin became moisturised, really well hydrated and felt really lovely to touch. I’d highly recommend this not just for kids (though they think it’s as fun as what I do to use!) but also for all ages.

It’s a very effective cream to use and I love that there are no bad ingredients, just really good ingredients so I knew good things were going into my skin.

  • Mandy T, 29, Mum of 3 boys says:

I love QV kids products and have been using them since my 8 year old was born. I have been using this moisturising cream on my 3 boys who are 8, 3 and 5 months old and their skin is lovely and soft. The oldest two suffer from mild eczema so the cream has helped their skin to stop feeling so dry and itchy. They love to have products that are made just for them. The beads in the product is great to let the kids know that the product has been properly rubbed in. We will definately keep using this.

  • Kacy says:

My Kids really loved the feel of the cream and enjoyed putting it on. I however would not buy a product with Petrolatum in it, it is just not something that needs to be ingested through the skin. This is a shame as I love QV products.

  • Debbie says:

I was a bit dubious about the little blue balls at first, but found they dissolved instantly to make a very smooth, easy to apply cream. I loved the low scent too as my son is sensitive to strong perfumes. He loved the cartoon packaging and wanted to carry the tube around. I found this cream to be non-greasy, absorbed easily and great for those hard to shift dry patches.

  • Brenda Kapsley says:

My daughter loves it she thinks it great to have her own cream so she remembers to use it all the time she gets bit dry skin on her face the qv cream has helped with that helped with her little bit sunburn the other day too

  • Ang says:

The blue beads were a novelty that set this product apart from the others. I am an adult and didn’t feel put off by the packaging or that the product’s target is children. I felt it worked very well, didn’t irritate my skin and wasn’t at all greasy.

  • Sharon Fawcett says:

I used this product both on the kids and on myself and I found it great. It was easy to apply and very easily absorbed. I liked that it felt light on my skin as I don’t like thick moisturisers. It had a very mild scent which I also liked as some fragrances give me a head ache.
I wasn’t too worried about the little coloured beads but I imagine some kids would really like them.
Overall I found this a really nice moisturiser to use and would purchase it in the future. I liked the size tube that it come in as I don’t like buying great big containers of cream. Thanks for letting me test drive this great product.

  • Deborah says:

Thank you for the opportunity to try something new. My 5 year old daughter is very fussy about having anything put on her face. However, she liked the novelty of the blue beads and liked that the cream rubbed in very quickly and lightly. Will definitely keep using it!

  • Megan Edwards says:

Nice cream, but would be a little concerned about using on kids more than occasionally, given the inclusion of petroleum in the list of ingredients. Quite easy to apply and my son liked the blue beads.

  • Jill Brisbane says:

This is a great general purpose body moisturiser for kids. It spreads well, doesn’t “soap up” white when rubbed onto the skin & the ingredients would provide good barrier protection. I am surprised there are no “natural” ingredients in this product but that would not deter me from buying the product. Although the product is Fragrance free, it still has a pleasant, non-chemical smell.

The tube is a perfect size to keep in my nappy bag too.

  • Tina Miller says:

My son has eczema and general dry skin. This worked really well at keeping his skin in good condition. He was a bit suspicious of the microbeads and he needed some persuasion to use it because of them. He thought the product didn’t smell particularly pleasant but once I explained that it was best that there was no perfume he was happy with that. I did notice that the product didn’t smell strongly after 30 minutes or so and my son didn’t notice it after the initial application. The texture of this product is really lovely. Thick enough to give long lasting hydration but it was absorbed into the skin really easily.

  • kathy clarke says:

i loved using it for my som, james he loved the little blue balls. I used it especially after swimming. i found that my hands were softer. I would definatly recommend the cream as james is allergic to some creams this one worked well for him. Congratulations QV. and THANKYOU

  • Sophie says:

i found this product really good. I suffer from eczema and the moisturiser did not inflame it. It was nice and thick and absorbed well.
I think the colourful balls are a great way to attract kids to the product and its fantastic that its fragrance free.

  • Virginia says:

What a great product for kids. Great packaging and interesting little
coloured beads. The cream was easily absorbed and left my daughter’s
skin feeling beautiful and soft. There was no reaction with her
sensitive skin. You guys should do a sunscreen.

  • Michelle says:

Great product. My girls enjoyed using it and loved having a product just for them.

  • Danya says:

Excellent moisturizer. The kids were happy to use it, as was I. Terrific.

  • Kylie says:

At first I felt the cream was quite thick and too heavy for my son’s use, but once rubbed in (love the little coloured beads) it was quickly absorbed and didn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin. After a week of use, my skin was noticably softer, and my son had less dry patches on his knees. I would recommend this cream for children. Thanks for the opportunity to trial your product!

  • marcia gibbs says:
